Man Carves Wood into Impressive 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser
While the world is majorly on hold due to coronavirus pandemic, most people have plenty of spare time. Some like spending their time reading, watching TV, exercising, or exploring their creative side. This guy at the Woodworking Art YouTube channel has utilized the time to create a magnificent semi-operation 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser, using a piece of wood.
The process of carving detailed Toyota SUV is surprisingly similar to the real vehicle manufacturing. It begins with assembling the subframe using the beefiest wood pieces. Furthermore, intricate details are added over the car to give it a realistic look.
Front fascia boasts exquisite details and a realistic layout of the original vehicle. We’re amazed how the craftsman has given a whole new meaning to mere pieces of wood. Some small details are whittled by hand, while the heavier work is the result of a router.
According to AutoEvolution, even the rear of the wooden car is very impressive, just like the front fascia. The build boasts something that one would never expect out of a usual woodworking project. In the video given below, you can see how this car is made from wood pieces. However, it’s not shown whether its doors and hatches and door locks can be opened/closed.
The vehicle moves smoothly, however, the noteworthy thing about the wooden wheels is the wood front suspension components. Just when you think the video is about to end, the craftsman pulls out another Land Cruise feature. The artist further focuses on the hand-carved tire treads, proving that no detail is too small when it comes to creativity. After the final touches, such as reflectors and mirror installation, the final Land Cruiser looks highly spectacular – as it’s loaded with realism.
