Wired and odd news interests us most and it’s a proven fact. So if you want to be popular then you should be able to imagine things which are almost like touching the sky for an average human being. Bryan Berg, an architect, has made news by building world’s largest house with playing cards. It took him 44 days and 4051 decks of playing cards, which means over 218,000 cards.

Revenge of the fallen wasn’t that much disappointment, but could not get ahead of the first impression those awesome transforming characters had who won our heart in the first movie. Anyway, I found this real life size transformer on web, but I could find out the details like who, when, why, how etc. Whoever has created it must be a dead fan of transformers.

Here are few spectacular images of the corona, the outer magnetic field of sun, which is in the form of a shell of super-hot gas. It is hard to imagine a temperature of around 2,000,000c in general and much harder to see it due to unbearable brightness. But, the eclipse hunter Miloslav Druckmuller provided these stunning images which he took on the Marshall Islands in July 2009.

RC Live Steam Tank 1 in action

This small steam powered tank might not be of any use today, but it tells all about the basic science behind the working of locomotives. Stage by stage, the maker ended up with a perfect fully working piece. It wasn’t an easy task. First a wilesco D49 double piston engine was tested, but was removed as it was using up too much steam for the vertical boiler to keep up. RC control was added to the final model in which a Mamod SE3 boiler with super heater replaced the earlier one.

Disney’s much-anticipated adventure film ‘Tron Legacy’ has come up with some cool 3D effects. Featuring Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn a software engineer, the movie is expected to continue the trend which Avatar has started. The trailer arouses hopes, but the final impression will come out with the release of movie in December
