Scott Sports has introduced their new Premium Road Shoe for Team ORICA-GreenEDGE, which is likely to wear them at the Tour de France this summer. The designer Luke Fryer has made a few modifications based on the feedback from cyclists. Improved BOA lacing system, a stronger and taller anatomic heel counter, a three dimensional tongue from molded stiffener and cushion for more comfort and bigger ribs for better hold are some modifications in the new Premium Road Shoe.
These slippers that can be constructed by the user themselves give us a new interesting way of creating footwear. Idea and the final product designed is from French design graduate Gaspard Tine-Beres (Royal College of Art, London) who gives us as the users new way of putting together felt shoes in a jiffy using just shoelaces. Called as the Lasso Shoes, they are made from single piece of natural wool die cut from 5 mm sheets and as a buyer you’ll get them flat-packed after which you can assemble them with laces supplied in color of choice.
